Sauvignon Blanc comes in many shades. The Voss Sauvignon Blanc style is a great expression of intense flavors and aromas. Over the years we have experimented with many varieties and styles, and now we are a Sauvignon Blanc specialist. This allows us the luxury of total focus in the vineyard and winery. Voss Sauvignon Blanc sees no oak barrels before bottling, allowing a true reflection of the flavors from vineyard to bottle without outside influence. The taste of the wine has a direct link to the vineyard and the way the wine is carefully nurtured and protected.
We grow the fruit for our Sauvignon Blanc on the Voss Vineyards estate in Rutherford and two nearby blocks with similar soil profiles. We also source fruit from two other distinguished vineyards, one in Oakville and one in Yountville. The Rutherford site produces grapes of intensely perfumed tropical fruit character. The Oakville and Yountville vineyards impart good acidity and citrus and mineral flavors.
A classic dessert wine with intense flavors of apricot, honey, passion fruit and orange zest. Balanced acidity keeps the fruit lively through the finish.
